The problem I had is that in order to change the bulb correctly, I needed to remove the battery so I could easily get my hand in there. I didn’t want to do this, so I fiddled around for a bit until I got the new bulb in. Still, it was worth saving the money that a mechanic would have charged me!

Especially as someone who recently bought a new car and almost got a ticket a few months ago because our headlight was out. I’m not sure if we would be able to do this with our Lexus though. Everything about that car is so computerized, which I may say sucks about new luxury cars. It makes it more difficult for people to dot he repairs their selves without “triggering” the computer, only to have to take it in and get the light turned off after running a diagnostic, which could end up costing you more.

But hi-five to you and the folks who still get down and dirty with their vehicles, keeping expenses low.
