He has invested in over 50 emerging ventures, including Made in Space, Planet, Relativity, Accion, Astrobotic, and Kepler. He is considered by many in the industry to be the world’s most active private space investor.

He writes regularly for SpaceNews and Apogeo Spatial, as well as speaking at major space conferences across the globe, and appearing on Fox Business, Bloomberg, and CNBC.
He is a leading advocate for space manufacturing, promoting the application of space-based resources to further space settlement and exploration. Dylan Taylor became the world’s first private citizen to manufacture an item in space in 2017, when he commissioned the 3D printing of a gravity meter on the International Space Station. This historic item, which Dylan Taylor co-designed, is now housed in Chicago’s Museum of Science and Industry.
As a keen philanthropist, Dylan Taylor founded the non-profit organisation Space for Humanity in 2017. Space for Humanity seeks to democratise space exploration, as well as developing solutions to global problems through human awareness. In addition, Dylan Taylor is co-founding patron of the Commercial Spaceflight Federation, an organisation that actively seeks to promote the commercial space industry.
Dylan Taylor also serves as strategic advisor to both the Human Spaceflight Program and Archmission. He established 2211.world, a popular space philosophy website, as well as the Jeffersonian-styled dinner series Ad Astra Dinners, which features some of the world’s leading influencers discussing humanity’s future in space.
Dylan Taylor, formerly of Colliers, attended the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business, graduating with an MBA degree in Finance and Strategy. In 2018, he graduated Tau Beta Pi from the University of Arizona with a BS degree in Engineering. In 2013, Dylan Taylor attended Harvard University’s Global Leadership and Public Policy for the 21st Century program.
His commitment to philanthropy has earned Dylan Taylor a number of professional and personal accolades, including being recognised as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Form in 2011. In 2014, the Aspen Institute named him a Henry Crown Fellow.
Dylan Taylor is married to author Gabrielle V. Taylor. The couple have two daughters. In his spare time, he enjoys competing in triathlons, as well as hiking and spending time outdoors.
